Walking to class
I have been told by multiple teachers to "take your headphones out, look up and enjoy walking around campus." And at times I agree, but I'm going to tell you right now that if you have a bomb playlist, walking to class can make you feel like the most badass person on the planet.
My advice for any student, dog walker, car driver, bike rider: is to make a playlist that makes you feel like you're on top of the world. It can consist of songs that you like to sing to, your professional baseball walk-out song, or songs that match your stride (trust me it's super fun to walk to the beat).
* If you are still struggling of what songs to add, here is my "Walking and feeling fly" playlist on Spotify.

Walking to music can change your mood entirely and prepare you for your next step (haha 'step') - whether it's class or not. One person that is the epitome of what I am talking about is Gregory (aka, the campus whistler). Over my career at Carolina, I have stopped and chatted with Gregory about 3 times. He always has the best insight on the power of music and walking with a purpose.
In the fall of 2017, Gregory said, “everyday is like the start of the rest of my life. I take charge to walk, to whistle. Whistling is clear, it’s bigger than life.”
So to all my readers out there, take charge - go listen to your own 'walking and feeling fly' playlist and take a stroll.
“My music is so beautiful because I never take it for granted.” - Gregory
